We created Speed To Burn Track Club for the many athletes who play different sports, but have an interest in running track for fun or to stay in shape during their off season. We wanted to give those athletes an opportunity to try track, without having to commit to lots of training and time. Having said that, we make the most of our training sessions and we give our athletes a solid introduction to the sport.

Speed To Burn Track Club trains once per week, on Sundays at Cathedral Catholic High School, with an optional practice during the week. Training begins in February and runs through June. There are a few local meets per month during that time. Meets are usually held on Saturdays, with a possible Sunday meet or two. Participation in the meets is not mandatory.

The 2012 Speed To Burn Track Club will accept athletes born in the years 1996-2003. For USATF events, youth athletes compete in 2-year age divisions. We will only be doing the Track & Field season, not the Cross Country season.

During our first three seasons, our athletes had great success in local meets, and we had several athletes who participated in the USATF National Meet, placing among the nation's best!
